This privacy policy describes how Kapelludden AB (556350-8265) and all companies in the group (collectively "Kapelludden", "we", "us") process your Personal Data within the framework of our business. "Personal data" refers to all information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a living natural person. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand how and for what purposes we process your Personal Data.
We process your Personal Data when you use our services (the "Services") in the manner set out below. We protect your privacy and at all times comply with applicable legislation that aims to protect you as an individual. This Privacy Policy sets out the basis for how we process the Personal Data you provide to us or that we collect about you when you use the Services.
We strive to maintain a high level of protection for personal integrity. Kapeludden processes Personal Data primarily to administer, provide, develop and maintain the Services, manage your bookings, optimize your experience of the Services and to communicate with you.
If you provide us with Personal Data about other people, you are responsible for allowing Kapeludden to process Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Collection and processing of personal data
Kapeludden only processes your Personal Data in accordance with applicable law.
Kapeludden can collect Personal Data directly from you when you use the Services (e.g. booking a cabin). We can also receive and transfer Personal Data about you from and to companies within the group or partners (e.g. if you used an intermediary company to book a cabin). We use different methods to collect Personal Data about you. Some of these include cookies, customer surveys and customer service. Depending on which Service you use, the collection method and the purpose of the processing may vary.
Kapeludden will process your Personal Data for the purposes stated below, as well as the purposes described to you in connection with the specific Services you use. When it is required by law that we obtain consent from you, we will obtain consent before processing takes place.
What Personal Data do we process and why?
Manage booking
If you book a cabin or a campsite with us, we process your Personal Data for the purpose of providing, managing, administering, following up and charging for your booking. This also includes our processing for the purpose of reminding or informing you about your booking in connection with your stay. It is necessary that you provide the information we request in order for us to process your booking. When you book for someone else, you are responsible to us for having permission from the other person(s) for Kapelludden to process its Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Newsletters and other forms of direct marketing
Treatment based on balance of interests
If you use our Services, we can process your Personal Data in order to send you newsletters with relevant information and offers about our own, or selected partners', goods and services in various channels, e.g. via letter, e-mail or through our digital channels, as long as a customer relationship between you and Kapelludden remains. We may also send you customer surveys to give you the opportunity to influence our product and service offering. Our processing of sending you direct marketing and customer surveys is then based on a balancing of interests. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters or other direct marketing from us, you can easily object to continued processing for this purpose by contacting us or unregistering directly in the mailing.

Profiling

If you submit a job application (spontaneous application or for a specific position) via our website or our other communication channels, we process your Personal Data for the purpose of evaluating your application and recruiting personnel for our operations. This also includes, if applicable, reference and background checks as part of our recruitment process. We ask that you do not send us any sensitive Personal Data (eg information about health, race or ethnic origin). Development and evaluation of our services, products and systems
We can process your Personal Data to adapt, develop and maintain our Services with the aim of increasing and improving user-friendliness, our range, quality and resource efficiency from an environmental and sustainability perspective. We can also process your Personal Data for the purpose of diagnosing errors, optimizing the technology and improving our IT systems.
We analyze the data we collect about you. The analysis is anonymized and is done on an aggregated level. The information from the analyzes can never be linked to a specific individual. The data from the analyzes we do form the basis for the development of our IT systems, website and product and service offering.

How long are your personal data saved?
Your Personal Data is saved for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes of our processing. We will then securely delete or de-identify your Personal Data so that it can no longer be linked to you.
Kapeludden processes Personal Data in accordance with the legislation in force at any given time. This means that Kapeludden deletes or de-identifies your Personal Data when the purpose of the processing is fulfilled.
Transfer of Personal Data and recipients with whom we share information
We may share your Personal Data with third parties. We never sell your Personal Data and Kapelludden will always enter into the necessary personal data processing agreements with the companies that process your Personal Data on our behalf. This is in order to ensure an adequate level of security for the processing of personal data.
Subcontractors
We may, in order to fulfill the purposes of our processing of your Personal Data, use the help of other companies to fulfill our obligations towards you. For this reason, we share your Personal Data with companies that provide services to Kapelludden such as, but not limited to, our subcontractors for customer service, delivery services, analysis services, communication and delivery of marketing materials. Kapeludden can also share your Personal Data with companies that manage operation, storage, technical support and maintenance of our IT solutions. Furthermore, we may also disclose your Personal Data to companies that deliver payment services to us, in order to be able to charge you.
Our subcontractors only process your Personal Data in accordance with our express instructions and may not use your Personal Data for their own purposes. They are also required by law to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access or other intrusions.

Kapelludden's Services may contain links to other applications and/or web pages that are not controlled by Kapelludden. This Privacy Policy is only applicable to your use of Kapeludden's own Services. Kapeludden is not responsible for the content of linked applications/web pages and the processing of Personal Data that may be done by owners or operators of these.
Cookies
Kapeludden uses cookies on its digital Services, which in some cases automatically collect your Personal Data (e.g. IP address and behavior patterns). We use cookies in order to improve your experience and the security of our digital Services. Personal data that we collect via cookies may be anonymized and used in aggregated form for development purposes, statistics and analysis.
Your rights
Access to your Personal Data
You have the right to request, free of charge, confirmation from us that we process your Personal Data, as well as request access to the Personal Data that we process about you, together with information about the processing and your rights in connection therewith, a so-called register extract.
Request correction
If you believe that Personal Data that we process about you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request correction of the Personal Data. In order for us to change information about you, you need to contact us. Kapeludden is not responsible for problems that arise as a result of your Personal Data being incorrect if you failed to inform us of this.
Withdraw consent with future effect
To the extent that we process your Personal Data based on your consent, you have the right, at any time, to withdraw your consent to the processing. The revocation does not apply retroactively.
Object to processing for direct marketing purposes
As mentioned above, you have the right to object to processing for direct marketing purposes. You unregister from further processing by either clicking on the unsubscribe link in the mailing or contacting us.
Deletion
You have the right to request to have your Personal Data deleted. However, this does not apply to Personal Data that we process in accordance with the law or agreement with you.
Limitation of treatment
You have the right to request that the processing of your Personal Data be restricted. Note, however, that this may result in us not being able to provide you with all of our Services in some cases.
Data portability
You have the right to receive a digital copy of the Personal Data that we process about you in a well-known, structured digitally readable format (data portability) to use with others. File a complaint with a regulatory authority
If you are not satisfied with our processing or for other reasons believe that we have processed your Personal Data incorrectly, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority for data protection.
